Monday 31/05:
In the morning i went to el puma and did the usual animals food/water etc. and all the workers had a meeting in the middle of the field so i ddint go coz i figured iwouldnt understand but when i looked eveyone was gone so there was no one around to ask what i should do! So i went and found a lady in the office and asked if there was anything else to do and she said to ask Raul (i think his names raul) so i did and he said there wasnt really but that on tuesday there would be and then we were just chatting and he asked how old i was and i was like eighteen, tomorrow NINETEEN and he was like woah bring a cake we are having a party :) so i was like ALRIGHT and left and went to the orphanage on the way home because it was so early and it was so cute all the kids were so happy to see me and Gabi literally ran over and jumped up and down shouting TIIAAAAA until a picked him up and he gave me a kiss on the cheek it was so sweet. i had a siesta and went into town with Susie and Kaitlin and i bought a dress to wear this week for my birthday night out and we went and got chips in Bar español and then went home for dinner not even remoltely hungry! Julian came over and was like Oh happy birthday! karaoke now? i was like julian. its monday. whats wrong with you. lol silly boy.
TUESDAY FIRST OF JUNE 2010- AKA MY NINETEENTH BIRTHDAY:
i woke up like a true ninja at seven am and didnt even wake the girls up at all and went off to the puma with a lemon pie for birthday celebrations. i got there and lots of people gave me birthday kisses and i fed and cleaned and watered the usual suspects and i decided a dear friend of mine may have died. the other day the bitch vet and her assistant took the gammy toucan away i presumed for an examination or a jab or something but it hasnt come back yet and ive not heard it squealing :( il miss you gammy!! i went and talked to raula nd told him i had pie with me and he showed me that id be painting a new cage that theyre making for some jaguars that are coming soon :) i had to hammer off some dirt from where itd been soldered together and then paint it all green and i got paint EVERYWHERE but i was happycoz it was my birthday and a bird landed on my head twice maybe because my hair looked like a nest? and it just generally followed me around lots so maybe its the toucan reincarnated? anyway i finished the painting around midday and we had pie with lots of the men and it was gone within about five seconds and everyone was very greatful and then i left and came home and went to have a siesta and susie and Kailtin had put loads of balloons in my bed and a churro it was so cute and made me smile lots. after my siesta susie and kailtin got home and we just chilled and i opened my cards from mum dad and will that were put in my suitcase and one that Elen gave me before i left. and susie bought me a card and the CD of the argentinian guy that we went to see in concert the other day :) so we just hung out and i went and called ma and pa and bought party food for when everyone came over later. Julian was already there when i got back and then vero lau gustavo belen and gina came over and we had a lovely time and played uno and drank and when everyone was there Susie brought in cake that said feliz cumple Beth and everyone sang and it was AWESOME :) around eleven we walked to Karaoke only to find that it was CLOSED so we went and sat in españa bar and had a beer and i was a bit depressed at my failure but it was fine really and we came home.
Wednesday 2/06:
As id forgot in my birthday madness to set my alarm i totally slept in until eleven that morning so i didnt go to the puma. instead a sat around all day eating around 4000 calories of CRAP and around two thirty me and kailtin went with chris to football and did the usual watching laughing and tickling cheeky children. we came home and hung out and watched TV and i ate even more food and watched Glee and Sex and the city online and then went to bed. a very uneventful day!
Thursday 3/06:
Today i went to the puma and did the usuals and then no one was around again apart from a man who wanted me to mow the lawn which i decided i didnt have the strength to do as its one massive lawn so i said id go to the refuge as it was still early. i went there for about an hour and just hung out and played tickling games and gabi was once again VERY excited to see me itl be so hard to say goodbye to him when i leave!!
Came home around half one and have been chilling :) tonight is susies last night so we are having a barbeque at seven .. excitement :D
